20 years ago, our founder, Don Sands, realised there was an enormous opportunity to reduce system inefficiencies by introducing model-based decision-making. Starting with the power generation industry, Synengco used digital twin modelling techniques and predictive analytics to improve asset efficiency.
Two decades later, our SentientSystem platform has been adapted to all classes of assets saving almost five million tonnes of CO2 from entering the atmosphere.
These assets can range in complexity and consequence from commercial buildings to defence.
In addition to this, we have prevented a multitude of events from occurring, many of which would have been costly for our customers. We are fulfilled and driven by the fact that our services create better outcomes for our clients and the broader community.
We are now extending SentientSystem to become a universal decision-making platform.
Ultimately, we are striving to have SentientSystem become part of the Open Industrial Interoperability Ecosystem (OIIE), whereby a decision-maker can operate using a combination of the best systems in an integrated manner. This is applicable to all stages of a project or asset lifecycle.
To give insight into the visionary that is Don Sands and how far we have come, our youngest employee was not even two years old when Synengco was founded. We have adapted and grown with the technological advancements and innovation that have taken place since then to create a powerful tool that serves our clients and the community.
