Newcastle CSIRO Energy Centre

Throughout 2016 and 2017, CSIRO, as part of a Low Carbon Living Cooperative Research Centre project, assessed the effectiveness of a wide variety of Fault Detection and Diagnostic (FDD) tools on equipment in functioning commercial buildings. SentientSystem® was one of the options used throughout the study.

‘SentientSystem® was an affordable option and despite being a late selection, Synengco’s team was able to get it running and collecting data before any of the other solutions that were being studied. The resulting alerts of SentientSystem® were presented in a clear fashion to our participating Facility Manager and they highlighted equipment faults and opportunities for making significant reductions in energy consumption and improvements to occupant comfort.’
